새크라멘토 한국학교는 한국어와 문화를 배우고자 하는 누구에게나 열린 교육기관입니다. 한인 2세는 물론, 다문화 가정과 한국 문화에 관심 있는 외국인들에게도 체계적인 한국어 교육을 제공합니다.

본교는 한국의 역사와 전통을 바르게 이해하고 계승하며, 글로벌 사회에서 한국어를 활용할 수 있는 능력을 기르는 것을 목표로 합니다. 미국 내 유일하게 자체 건물을 보유한 한국학교로서 안정적인 교육 환경을 제공하며, 앞으로도 모두가 함께 성장하는 배움의 공간이 되겠습니다.

Korean School of Sacramento is an open educational institution for anyone interested in learning Korean language and culture. We offer structured Korean education to second-generation Korean-Americans, multicultural families, and non-Koreans alike.

Our mission is to help students understand Korean traditions and develop language skills for a global society. As the only Korean school in the U.S. with its own building, we provide a stable learning environment and continue to foster a space where all learners grow together.

새크라멘토 한국학교의 모든 교사들은 한국외교부 산하 재외동포청이 주관하는 한글학교 교사 인증과정을 이수한 전문 교육자들입니다.

또한 대부분의 선생님들은 한국 또는 미국 현지에서 교직생활을 해오셨거나 현재도 교육 현장에서 활동 중인 분들로, 5년~20년의 풍부한 교육 경험과 교육 열정을 바탕으로 학생들에게 수준 높은 한국어 교육을 제공하고 있습니다.

All teachers at the Korean School of Sacramento have completed the Korean Language Teacher Certification Program administered by the Overseas Koreans Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

Most of our teachers have taught or are currently teaching in Korea or in the United States, with 5 to 20 years of teaching experience.

They bring deep expertise and dedication to providing high-quality Korean language education for our students.

반 소개 • Class Introduction

1. 유치반 (Rabbit / Kindergarden Class)

• 한글의 기초를 배우며 노래, 놀이, 미술 활동을 통해 한국어와 한국 문화를 자연스럽게 익힙니다.

• Students learn basic Korean through songs, games, and art activities, making the language and culture fun and engaging.

2. 초급반 (Cheetah / Beginner Class)

• 한글 자음과 모음을 익히고 간단한 단어와 문장을 읽고 쓸 수 있도록 지도합니다.

• Students learn Korean consonants and vowels, and practice reading and writing simple words and sentences.

3. 중급반 (Cat / Intermediate Class)

• 문장 구조를 익히고 짧은 글을 읽고 쓰며, 일상회화를 연습합니다.

• Students learn sentence structures, read and write short passages, and practice basic daily conversations.

4. 고급반 (Turtle / Advanced Class)

• 긴 글을 읽고 자신의 생각을 표현하는 연습을 하며, 한국 문화와 역사에 대한 이해를 넓힙니다.

• Students read longer texts, express their thoughts in writing and speech, and deepen their understanding of Korean culture and history.

5. 사랑반 (Sarang Class - Special Needs Class)

• 사랑반은 장애 학생들을 위한 맞춤형 한국어 수업을 제공합니다. 학생 개개인의 필요에 맞춰 학습을 진행하며, 음악, 그림, 놀이 등을 활용해 즐겁고 효과적인 교육 환경을 조성합니다.

• The Sarang Class is a specialized Korean language class for students with disabilities. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, using music, art, and play to create an enjoyable and effective learning environment.

6. TOPIK 준비반 (Test of Proficiency in Korean)

어휘, 문법, 듣기, 읽기 등 시험에 필요한 영역을 집중적으로 학습하며, 실전 모의고사도 함께 진행됩니다.
The class focuses on essntial skills such as vocabulary, grammar, listening, and reading, and includes practice exams.
